Earth Day: Clean-up and planting campaign at the Caritas Integration House

Earth Day, also known as Earth Day, is celebrated annually on April 22 and serves to promote environmental awareness worldwide and encourage sustainable action. With this in mind, Caritas Tirol and the Innsbruck-based company CURACOSMETICS GROUP have joined forces to set an example for ecological and social sustainability. Residentsand members of the CURACOSMETICS GROUP sustainability team worked side by side in a joint clean-up campaign at the Caritas Integrationshaus - a strong signal for living responsibility and sustainable cooperation.

Around20 adults and children enthusiastically took part in the joint clean-up campaign in and around the Caritas Integrationshaus. While the younger participants in particular were able to playfully develop an awareness of environmental protection and resource conservation during the campaign, the employees of the CURA COSMETICS GROUP gained a valuable insight into the colorful coexistence and work of Caritas in the integration house.
As a sustainable sign of growth and the future, CURA COSMETICS GROUP presented the residents and children of the house with an apple tree, which was then planted together.

"The Caritas Integration House is not only a new, forward-looking form of housing, but also a place of encounter. When residents and visitors to the house become active together, it not only strengthens the sense of community, but also the awareness of responsibility - for our shared spaces, the environment and for each other. ", explains Petra Knoflach, head of the Caritas Integrationshaus.

For Samira Beji from the CURA COSMETICS GROUP, who organized the clean-up campaign together with Christine Stolz, the collaboration was also a special experience that shows how valuable joint commitment can be: "We are very happy about joint projects with Caritas - they are not only meaningful for us, but also inspiring. It was great to see how much passion the CARITAS team puts into their work - you can feel it immediately. Planting the apple tree. We hope to be able to visit it again soon - as a sign of mutual growth and sustainable connection."

 With the joint Earth Day campaign, Caritas Tirol and the CURA COSMETICS GROUP are underlining their holistic approach to sustainability: ecological and social responsibility go hand in hand. The aim is not only to set a visible example for environmental protection, but also to promote long-term awareness of sustainable action. The joint planting of an apple tree is symbolic of shared growth, responsibility and future prospects.
